The Trouble with Strategy

Virtually every manager has a story about a great strategy or a key initiative or a change program that got away. Everyone supported the strategy, most people had bought into the initiative, and yet it was never implemented. At other times it was implemented, but haphazardly. The reasons are many and varied. Yet one thing is common -- organizations pay a huge price; and some sadly, never recover.

We deal with Strategy Execution, key initiative deployment, and rapid roll-out of new programs through catalytic mechanisms – Project Management, Portfolio Assessment, and centralized co-ordination with our Project Management Office approach. The Epiphany

Following a major organization-wide Project Management development initiative in 2004, the founders behind i2m went through a period of discovery and reflection concerning the real-world application of Project Management. Realizing that traditional methods of applying Project Management approaches based on a theoretical framework had several limitations, they began their search for a methodology that would translate learning to performance while translating strategy to results.

It was with the latter objective in mind that in the year 2005, i2m was incorporated.  i2m began  with a dual focus on creating a  strong Project Management Office model coupled with an Enterprise Project Management practice using a blended approach. A learning solution was also built on the principles of Artificial Intelligence and consequently integrated with one of the first blended learning (web-based mentoring) programs in the world.
